Hi mathmale

OpenStudy (imsleeziboii):

i dont get how to do this one

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Why not look up "perpendicular line" on the Internet? There is a clear rule for finding the slope of a line perpendicular to another line whose slope is known. Once you know that rule, the rest is very easy.

OpenStudy (imsleeziboii):

i know what perpindicular line is........

OpenStudy (mathmale):

The slope of the given line is m=-1/2. Two very simple operations will give you the slope of any line perpendicular to the given line.

OpenStudy (imsleeziboii):

The answer is 2`
