I think the Law of Cosines will have to be used here. In words, it states: The square of any side of a triangle is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides of the triangle minus twice the product of those sides and the cosine of the included angle.
Ok sounds good.
b^2 = 4^2 + 7^2 -2 * 4 * 7 * cos75 b^2 = 16 + 49 -56 * cos 75
