OpenStudy (christos):

Would you do integration by parts to solve this thing https://www.dropbox.com/s/mxcp1u37p5bf0vq/Screenshot%202016-03-01%2020.36.22.png?dl=0 ? Or is there a simpler way ?

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

IBP is already a pretty straight forward approach just separate x^2 = x.x and bish bosh

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

As an alternative, you could use a trig substitution : \(x = \sqrt{7}\tan u\)

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

OMG a lot uglier than i thought initially. ganesh's idea is better than IBP, IMHO. maybe even try \(x^2 = 7 \sinh^2 u\), though hindsight is 20:20 :-))
