Rate of change formula given values x=a and x=b:\[\frac{f(b)-f(a)}{b-a}\]
OpenStudy (kpop4life123):
i dont know how to do it
OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):
or in simpler terms, just find the slope between two points lol
OpenStudy (kpop4life123):
is it d
i think

Okay, using these example points (x, f(x)):
point A (lower point): coordinates (1,35)
point B (higher point): coordinates (2, 70)
So inputting into formula -\[\frac{f(2)-f(1)}{2-1}\]
OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):
point A: x = 1, f(x) = 35 point B: x = 2, f(x) = 70 f(x) is the output based on the input x. Basically the y-value\[\frac{f(2)-f(1)}{2-1}\rightarrow\frac{70-35}{2-1}\rightarrow ?\]
OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):
(It's basically slope but way more complex and roundabout. :T)
OpenStudy (kpop4life123):
35/1
OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):
Yep :-)
