In one month, Jillian made 36 local phone calls and 20 long distance calls. What was her ratio of local calls to long distance calls for that month?
\[\frac{ 36 }{ 20 }\]
=?
To get a ratio of a fraction you need to simplify the fraction then take the numerator as your first number and take your denominator and make it your second number!
A. 9 : 5 B. 2 : 1 C. 3 : 2 D. 9 : 4
those are the answer
@aziaboo45 people in OS are not here to give direct answers, they can help you find the answer but they will not give you the answer, thats what you have to find out
shut up
Do you want to get suspended?
Simplify 36/20
@1stTime4Everything Stop giving out threats when you have no power...
no but why would do that
I am not making threats, i know i dont have any power, but i still follow the code of conduct
Yes, but you're not helping anyone out..
You are just running around telling people that they will get suspended
@aziaboo45 Has done nothing wrong
I don't help out, well i do its just i only make sure everyone is doing what they are suppose to be doing
so you are not my mom you dont tell me i am getting suspended
@ganeshie8
I am not telling you that you are getting suspended, if you dont follow the code of conduct thats how you get suspended
Ugh... -.-
sorry but your not my mom and i know what i am soposed to be doing lol
the ratio is 36/20 (or 36:20) however, we can simplify it. (the same way you simplify a fraction) for example, both the top and bottom are even, so you could divide both by 2 you would get 18/10 (because 36/2 is 18 and 20/2 is 10) but we can simplify even more. divide top and bottom by 2. what do you get ?
Did you get the answer?
yeah thank you
