The formula for a sphere is \[V=\frac{ 4 }{ 3 }\pi r^3\]
OpenStudy (isuckatschool43):
yeah I got 113.1 but thats not an option
OpenStudy (4everaddicted2anime):
To get the answer you need to keep it in terms of pi. In other words, don't multiply pi into the answer and leave it next to the number
OpenStudy (isuckatschool43):
i got 12.56 now, which still isnt an option

the volume =113.1 and than you divide it by 3.14 to get 36.02
OpenStudy (4everaddicted2anime):
Here is what you need to do:
\[V=\frac{ 4 }{ 3 }\pi(3)^3\] Now lets simplify the part with the exponent of 3 to get\[V=\frac{ 4 }{ 3 }\pi(27)\] Next lets multiply 27 and the fraction to get\[V=36\pi\]

oooh i see

The volume of a cylinder formula is:
\[V=\pi r^2h\] Here is what you are given
V=722.83pi
r=4.1
h=?
What you have to do is solve for h, so this is what the equation should look like with everything plugged in\[722.83=4.1^2h\] First you need to square 4.1 to get\[722.83=16.81h\] Now you need to divide both sides by 16.81 to get h alone. This should look like\[43=h\]
