SIMPLIFY GIVE MEDALSSSSS!!!! (a + b - c)(a + b + c)

OpenStudy (samslays):

When i multiplied it al out I got a^2 + ab+ac+ab+b^2+bc-ac-bc-c^2

OpenStudy (samslays):

sO YOU GET A^2 +AB^2+B^2-C^2

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

than you consider - note (a+b) = x so will get (x-c)(x+c) so what is formula for difference of perfect squares so do you know (x-c)(x+c)= ? and after you get the result here dont forget it that x=(a+b) so in this result resubstitute the (a+b) in place of x and will get the right answer hope you understand it easy
