A data set consists of the following data points: (2, 4), (4, 7), (5, 12) The slope of the best-fit line is 2.5. Find the y-intercept of this line. A. -1 B. -1.5 C. -2.5 D. -2
@Directrix
pls
Look at the line of best fit (linear regression) calculator at this link: http://www.endmemo.com/statistics/lr.php
the website is blocked
a bunch of famous people r here
Try again. Enter the numbers as shown here.
it wont let me get on the website ); can u calculate it for me? pls
Try this and determine if this site is blocked. http://www.endmemo.com/index.php
The requested page has been blocked
is what it says
You will need to find an online calculator that you can access, do the problem on a TI-Something calculator, or crank out the regression line by hand. For now, I will show you what the output is for this problem.
thanks
>>a bunch of famous people r here Yes. You and I.
lol nah its just me myself and i
@2kende If you have a set of linear regression problems to solve, you will need to find a way to do them. I don't know why the site is blocked. There are others. And, you can always crank out the problem by hand.
if u woulda showed me the hand way i woulda did it wit u
An attachment from the Mathematica program using it's Fit function is attached..
@2kende >>if u woulda showed me the hand way i woulda did it wit u I'll have to review it before I can help show you how to crank out the formula by hand.
