Help! I will fan and medal EVERYONE that helps! Express the solution in interval notation. x≥−2 and x≤−12

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Any ideas?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well I do know for one, that its not a union because it has "and" in between.

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

That's a good start.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you put queston in chat

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Draw a graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how @skullpatrol ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you sure that is not supposed to be an or between those two inequalities? X can't be greater than -2 and less than -12

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Draw a number line with 0 in the middle and positive values to the right and negative values to the left of zero.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Brian42 thats initially what I thought, but my professor said no and that it cant be a typo...so I have no clue!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If its not a union then it must be the empty set.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

as in 0?

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

The empty set has no members.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The 0 with the slash through it is the empty set

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's what I was thinking! thank you @skullpatrol and @Brian42

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
