OpenStudy (briellshaw):

There are 160 pink and blue balloons at the party store. 56 of the balloons are blue. What percentage of the balloons are pink?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First, you have to find the number of pink balloons. Do this by subtracting the amount of blue balloons from the total (160-56= 104) So, there are 104 pink balloons. Then, to find the percentage of pink balloons, you need to divide the number of pink balloons by the total number of balloons. \[\frac{ 104 }{ 160 }= 0.65\] To turn 0.65 into a percentage, just move the decimal over to the right 2 times. (65%) Hope this helped!
