Antagonists in "Huck Finn"?

OpenStudy (ositan):

I'm not just talking about Pap or about the Duke and King, but people like the Widow and Huck's aunt, as they antagonize both Huck (by not letting him be a kid/be himself) and Jim (by keeping him in slavery).

OpenStudy (anaise):

Well, my sources say the society he was in.

OpenStudy (ositan):

I agree, but I ought to be more clear

OpenStudy (anaise):

http://prntscr.com/aahine if this helps

OpenStudy (ositan):

I mean people

OpenStudy (anaise):

Sorry I had to google it, I just haven't really read it.

OpenStudy (anaise):

Well Jim is one.

OpenStudy (ositan):

hey, that's fine. Thanks, anyhow!

OpenStudy (anaise):

No problem.

OpenStudy (anaise):

How many people do you need?

OpenStudy (ositan):

I need 3 people; I already have two.

OpenStudy (ositan):

Miss Watson, the King and Duke, and ___________.

OpenStudy (anaise):

Pap?

OpenStudy (ositan):

Thought about it, because he technically is, but I was looking for a person who directly antagonizes both Huck and Jim (which is why I eventually went with the King and Duke, as they've got all of Pap's crimes against Huck and all of society's crimes against Jim).

OpenStudy (anaise):

Actually, I'm sticking with pap, but I'll find some more ^.^

OpenStudy (anaise):

http://prntscr.com/aahl29 Hopefully this explains why.

OpenStudy (ositan):

Hm. All right, I'll take a closer look at him, then, as I keep looking. Thanks for the extra info!

OpenStudy (anaise):

No problem :)
