I'm a Muslim do you have any questions about my faith many misconceptions and stereotypes out there

OpenStudy (snuggielad):

History is not the appropriate place for this question. A better place would be the "hippocampus Religion" group.

Of course not! You are free to choose what you want to believe. I truly don't understand why people don't respect others' opinions, beliefs, etc. It's like, you are told you are free to believe and practice whatever you'd like, but then people/society tells you it's wrong, which doesn't make much sense to me at all. Me personally, I have my own faith. But that does not give me the right to say "What you believe is wrong. You are all terrorists, blah blah". I'm not sure if this makes any sense but my point is: You have your own faith and your own set of beliefs, and I have my own, and another person has their own. Despite this, however, it gives NOBODY the right to disrespect each other and throw racist slurs or remarks or to make fun of/ridicule others' beliefs.

OpenStudy (mazmaz1):

Yes and some of the stuff people believe about Islam and Muslims just isn't true. Someone once told me that we worship the moon and that I wasn't a practicing Muslim because they believe Islam is a violent cult. I f you have any questions please ask

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And I also would like to truly apologize if you are subject to oppression and hatred just because of your race, your beliefs. We are all human and nobody ever deserves to go through that. It seems there are very few out there who are accepting of one another despite what they believe in. And I don't have any questions but I will be sure to ask others or come back to you in case! :)

OpenStudy (mazmaz1):

My race is White but my religion is Islam. Trump want us banned from America. What did I ever do wrong? those terrorists do not represent Islam and are not good muslims
