Can someone make this an equation for me? I know the answer already, but I'm lost on turning it into an equation.
Kayden is planning on going to the movie theater. He said that he he has enough money to either buy three matinee tickets, or two evening tickets with 3 dollars left over. Evening tickets are 15 dollars each, matinee tickets are 11 dollar each. How much money does Kayden have?

He has either 3 maintee, or 2 evening with 3 left over. They turn out to the same value, hence equal.

Then 3M = 2E+3 (3 leftover dollars)
