Why don't custom titles (from subscriptions) replace the title on the left (rookie, lifesaver, etc.) rather than the title on the right (moderator, ambassador), if one happens to have a title on the right?

Not to mention you cannot have the subscription title...

But the reason is simple, in the OS code, those are known as designation, and there was only mean to be 1 originally, and nothing has been coded  to allow for more then one designation to be assigned to a given user.

Things CAN be changed, however i dont think thats going to happen for a while, as currently they are working on server side, not client.
