which is a trinomial with a constant term x-t+3 or x^3 +12x^2 +x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think its the second but im not positive

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Which is the constant term?

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

A constant term has no variable.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x because lets say in this case x is 3, that term wont change after its said what it is unlike the other things but in the other I didn't think that was considered a trinomial but it could be which is why im confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In the first one it would be three because no matter what the others are it will always stay the same

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and in the second one i believe it would be x because you're adding that to it no matter what

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

They both have 3 terms but only one has a constant term.
