Well I can only see that I would have finished the second sentence at "Belle answered." Idk about anything else

It's b, it's incorrect. The second half should be like this: "That's a great idea," Belle answered. "We can make plans for this Saturday, also." In this case there would be a period after "answered" since she is starting a new sentence.
