Please tell me what you think
I used to be wild and free, but now I have responsibility
I used to be out there, not shy at all, now I silently walk down the hall
I used to be fearless I used to play
Now I write and sleep all day
Through knowledge and responsibility
I will hand myself the key that makes me free
I will be bold
And use my smarts
But it doesn’t matter who I am now
Because who I’m becoming
Will take me somehow
And I will be happy
And they will be proud
I wont hide my voice
I’ll scream aloud
A poem about me
But more importantly
Who will I be?
