Once a newly-proposed law passes either the House of Representatives or the Senate, it becomes a law. true, or false?

OpenStudy (mythorius):

This is false: the bill only becomes a law if it is signed by the president, which happens only after the bill passes the House or Senate. (but if he vetoes it, the senate and House can still pass it, if they have a two-thirds majority.)
