Please help! My online school told me the answers for this already, but I don't exactly understand what the question is asking for: There are two whole numbers between 35 and 40 that are 60% of another whole number. What are the numbers and what are the numbers of which they are 60%? Explain how you found the answer.

OpenStudy (keepcalmandqson):

well 60 percent of a number that is whol is like 46 but in your case it would be 37

OpenStudy (fortytherapper):

So 60% turned into a decimal is .60 So take each number between 35 and 40 and multiply that by .60. 35 x .60 = ? 36 x .60 = ? and so on. If you get a whole number, then yeah. If you get a decimal number, then yeah.
