Do each division using a calculator. Then you'll be able to tell easily.

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

what is your guess?

OpenStudy (fortytherapper):

I agree. The Calc is the best way here

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

There is no need to guess. Do it the correct way, then you'll be sure you're right.

MsBrains (ms-brains):

I think it's 14/5... How do I do it the correct way..?

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

correct

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

the correct way would to just divide each until you fin the number :)

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

find*

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Use a calculator to find each decimal. Do all 4 divisions using a calculator. Only one will be equal to 2.8

OpenStudy (fortytherapper):

You can write it out like \[5{\sqrt{14}}\], pretending the square root symbol is the doghouse I don't know if they have that on this website 5 goes into 14 twice with a remainder of 4 so 2 and 4/5 or 2.8

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Thank you all for the help! ^-^ You all are amazing!

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

no problem and likewise :)
