OpenStudy (baitcaster13):

I think that the state should have more power than the federal goverment because i think you should not give the goverment to much power and have more people power if you give the federal goverment to much power they could do anything they want and you pretty much can not escape that but if you give the state to much power the goverment will be able to put it in control easily

OpenStudy (mazmaz1):

Thats it? The Federal Government must be strong and unify the states if the states are truly united. The words of our founding father Benjamin Franklin, "United we stand divided we fall" give us a glimpse of what the intended when the balance of power was first struck. If the States wish to act as a United Nation the Federal Government has to set out strict guidelines that states must follow, the states however should be allowed to make local laws based on the states needs. If the states are unanswerable to the Federal Government the relations between states can become increasingly bitter. Our Federal Government should also have ultimate say over inter state disputes and relations. Indeed a weak federal government means a weak army and illegitimacy in the eyes of other countries and was the cause of the civil war and will be the cause of further conflict

OpenStudy (baitcaster13):

wow
