imqwerty (imqwerty):

alright what the question says is-> if originally we had this- \(\large p=\color{orangered}{ \Large \frac{\frac{1}{2}ary+a}{12y}}\) and then we multiplied \(a\) by \(2\) i.e., we replace \(a\) with \(2a\) then what will be effect on \(p\) replacing \(a\) with \(2a\) we get this- \(\Large \frac{\frac{1}{2}(2a)ry+(2a)}{12y}\) we can write it like this- \(\Large \frac{2 \color{orangered}{\left(\frac{1}{2}ary+a \right)}}{\color{orangered}{12y}}\) notice that the whole thing in orange is nothing but \(p\) replacing it with p we get- \(\Large \frac{2 \color{orangered}{\left(\frac{1}{2}ary+a \right)}}{\color{orangered}{12y}}\) =\(2p\) so \(p\) gets multiplied by 2 :)

oh ok!
