can someone give me ideas on what to write a song about? I have about 18 songs already.. but they're all sad, depression-inspired songs. I want something more positive... but I just don't know what to write about /:

There are a lot of topics song out there. The one topic I hear the most on the radio is "love". But if love isn't your thing to write about, try telling a story about a character who has positive events happen in his/her life in song format. David Bowie is inspiration on my part. "Ziggy Stardust" is a song I love that tells a story about a musician who gets caught up in fame. But hey! Maybe you'll get noticed by a record label! Good luck! :)

Something super emotional always gets me. Whether it's sad or super empowering. I love songs about success and reaching goals. Make it dramatic. (And I want to hear it) ;)
