One place Carolina chickadees like to live is in forests. They build their homes in holes they find in red maples and other trees. They eat many kinds of insects that live in trees and tree bark. They also eat fruit and seeds from poison ivy, golden-rods, and other sun-loving plants. Some of their predators include hawks, owls, cats, and chipmunks. A Carolina chickadee family has made its home in a red maple tree. Their tree is an old one. It stands in the middle of a forest. Describe a change that could happen in the forest that might hurt the chickadee family. Describe another change that

Well, if there was a bad storm in the forest, the tree could have the possibility of cracking/falling down considering that it is old. Plus, you could always have lumberjacks come in and cut down trees. Both of these situations would put the chickadee family in danger, whether it be death or having to find a new place to live.
