if u wanna check ur answer you should say: 5(-1) -4(-2) so now u should solve and see if it is correct: -5 + 8 = -6 so ur answer is correct :))

perhaps for the second equation but what about the top one? the rule( -1,-2) doesnt apply cause it would not equal 14 if you inserted those two numbers into the equation.
