OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

And no need to be sorry

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

DUH I KNEW THAT. I totally already knew that

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

I learned it on Cinderella x'D

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

XD

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

So, let's start with the basic greetings. `Bonjour` means `Hello` and is more formal. Salut (pronounced sa-loo) means `Hi` or `Bye`, which are both more informal. Now, let's try `Good morning`, `Good evening`, and `Good night`. Also, one more thing, `Bon` means `Good`. So, `Bonjour` not only means `Hello`, but also `Good morning` as `jour` means `day`. `Bonsoir` (pronounced bon-swar) means `Good evening`. Lastly, `Bon nuit` means `Good night`. From this, can you tell me what `evening` and `night` is in French?

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

oh wow lol

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

evening is soir and night is nuit?

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

Yeah. That's not all I know.

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

lol

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

Correct!

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

Do you know the numbers?

I do.

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

awesome

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

1=un 2=deux 3=trois 4=quatre 5=cinq 6=six (pronounced sees) 7=sept 8=huit 9=neuf 10=dix

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

It's extremely similar to the spanish numbers

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

Yeah

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

1=un uno 2=deux dos 3=trois tres 4=quatre cuatro 5=cinq cinco 6=six (pronounced sees) seis 7=sept siete 8=huit ocho 9=neuf nueve 10=dix diez So the first numbers are fairly similar, so numbers should be pretty easy to learn xD

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

Yeah.

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):

Hmm...What things do you want to learn now in french?

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):
