OpenStudy (judson_rockets):

The volume of a prism is 45 yd3. What would change if the volume of the prism were measured in cubic feet? A. The volume of the prism would decrease. B. The volume of the prism would increase. C. The volume of the prism stays the same, but the number representing the volume increases. D. The volume of the prism stays the same, but the number representing the volume decreases.

OpenStudy (dani_rose):

Convert yd to cubic feet

haay ik u

You basically want to change the unit volume so that would mean that the volume would stay the same...so we can cross out A and B.... Now since 3ft equals 1yd and 1yd equals 3ft that would mean that the unit would be larger but will still have the same volume.

OpenStudy (judson_rockets):

D then

563blackghost (563blackghost):

No it would be C since we are going from a smaller kind of unit to a larger representation....
