I don't believe that 'Cell Fission' increases genetic diversity. That is the process in WHICH the division of the parent body into two and or more daughter cells, or individuals, IDENTICAL TO THE PARENT. ASEXUAL reproduction process, in this term. It doesn't increase diversity, if it is IDENTICAL to the parent.
