Which Persian emperor was defeated by Athenian forces at the Battle of Marathon?

The battle of Marathon was a battle in which many of the Greek city-states united and fought against Persia, a large Army led by King Darius 1. Marathon got it's name because of the man who ran 26-ish miles back to Greece to tell them the news of their victory.
