Use the method of elimination to solve the following system of equations. 5x + 4y = 20 6x − 5y = 24 (x,y) = (__,__)

OpenStudy (snowsurf):

You have to modify the equations so that either y or x add to zero and you can solve for the variable. Let's find x. So make the y the same value so when you add them equations y will add to be zero. So try that first.
