MIT 6.00 Intro Computer Science (OCW) 6 Online

Hi everybody! I just start taking this course today. Have a bit of prior programming experience with Python but never actually get it or build anything useful. My question is, how long one should spend on a lecture. 1 day, 2 days or even more than 1 lectures a day? Fyi I'm still studying in high school.

OpenStudy (bluejuice915):

I'm managing on one per day, but if you really don't understand what is being discussed, watch it a again the next day.

OpenStudy (rsmith6559):

In my opinion, one of the best things about OCW is that you can do courses on your schedule, at your own pace. At your own pace basically means that when you're confident that you're an ace at what has been presented, you move on to something new. It's wonderful not to be constrained by the group that you're studying with, it's YOUR OWN PACE.

Just make sure that you understand the material. Do the problem sets and then compare your code to the solution code that you can download. there is no measurement except your own.
