first find 60% of peoples then on one 8800 spend so multiply by 60 % with 8800
(0.6)*22500= 135000 135000*8800=1,188,000,000

1) you multiply (60/100) by 22500 which equals 135000(and that's basically the total number of students in public schools) and since $8,800 was spent per child on education you multiply 135000 by 8,800$
