If I remember this correctly: \[slope = \frac{ y_{2}-y_{1} }{ x_{2}-x_{1} }\] P(3,f(3)) Q(x,(f(x)) what we need to do is to just treat this as a slope problem. \[\frac{ f(3)-f(x) }{ 3-x } = m_{PQ~Slope}\]
