Are you asking if it's possible to get suspended for giving direct answers? Or why you (or someone else) got a suspension for giving direct answers?

It is definitely possible to get suspended for direct answers (I learned the hard way). Direct answers is one of the most important things in the Code of Conduct. If you see someone giving a direct answer, it is encouraged to report this. Make sure when reporting that you put something in the report box such as "user giving direct answers" instead of leaving it blank. This helps the moderators to know what they're looking for when going to a post.
