Solve systems numerically:f(x)=x^2 g(x)=4x^3-2

OpenStudy (raffle_snaffle):

system of equations?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not sure. I forgot to put after it_ Approximate Solutions:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it is

OpenStudy (triciaal):

welcome to Openstudy.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can somebody help me solve this? I'll give a medal to anybody who does. Idk how to do this! :(

OpenStudy (triciaal):

you did not give clear directions. set f(x) = g(x) and solve to find the value of x substitute in the f(x) or g(x) to find the y value

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How do I do that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Like how would that look like?

OpenStudy (triciaal):

then again you may want to pick some values for x and sketch a graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ugh I'm so slow. How do I find those values? Idk what numbers to plug in

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They didn't give me any values. That's all the problem says

OpenStudy (triciaal):

i have the graph but I can't find "paint" to save and post with this new windows 10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can draw it on here. I used to on here

OpenStudy (triciaal):

https://www.desmos.com/calculator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh so I just graph this? Lol

Thanks!
