an electrical field is pushing a current through a conductor. the charges carrying the current ----------- a)never gain or lose energy since energy is conserved b)nothing can be said about the energy without knowing the voltage c) gain energy from the electrical field setting then in motion but do not lose it until they return to their starting point in the circuit. d)lose eenergy when they collide woth other particles

plz help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would say D, I'm not sure though

OpenStudy (anaise):

Still need help? :P

OpenStudy (korosh23):

Do you know the shape of the conductor? This might help. Do research http://www.physicsclassroom.com/class/estatics/Lesson-4/Electric-Fields-and-Conductors

OpenStudy (korosh23):

Did you find out? This is what I think: Electeric fields cannot exist whitin or inside conductors because they will violate the laws of physics about electron direction. Thus, E= o inside conductors.
