little help

OpenStudy (ageta):

Translate, reflect, and rotate (between 0 and 180°) Figure 1 so that it lies entirely in Quadrant III on the coordinate plane. You may perform the transformations in any order that you choose. Draw a picture of the new figure at each step and explain the procedures you followed to get the new figure. Use coordinates to describe the transformations you used.

@Directrix @jhonyy9 @jim_thompson5910 help

OpenStudy (mrhirohito):

Georgia Standards of Excellence Frameworks Is this what you are doing?

OpenStudy (ageta):

yea just want to practice

OpenStudy (ageta):

is there anything wrong with it?

OpenStudy (mrhirohito):

Ok ima give you some examples...Mathmale please hold i think i can give him some examples.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Please, @ageta, do not post such a great deal of information at once, most of it irrelevant to your question. Please pick one specific question that you want to discuss, drawing or typing it in, and ask questions about whatever is not clear to you. Remember, please, that this is a free educational site, where you may ask specific questions one at a time, but not expect anyone to help you work through entire sections.

OpenStudy (mrhirohito):

Hi mathmale! How are you tonight?

OpenStudy (ageta):

i posted the question on the top

OpenStudy (ageta):

Translate, reflect, and rotate (between 0 and 180°) Figure 1 so that it lies entirely in Quadrant III on the coordinate plane. You may perform the transformations in any order that you choose. Draw a picture of the new figure at each step and explain the procedures you followed to get the new figure. Use coordinates to describe the transformations you used.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

I'm fine, thank you, but much concerned about the quantity of external information that you're posting. Kindly type in for the other person just what's relevant to his or her question.

OpenStudy (mrhirohito):

Ok im sorry i was just trying to help him..

OpenStudy (ageta):

go on mrhirihito

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Again, please do NOT (ever) post what looks like the syllable for an entire course or course section. Pick the problem you want to discuss and share that only. Share what you've done and what kind of help you'd like.

OpenStudy (mrhirohito):

Describe any similarities and/or differences between Figure 1 and each of the other figures.

OpenStudy (ageta):

i did

OpenStudy (mrhirohito):

thats all i can say.

OpenStudy (mrhirohito):

Double check. Its always good to double check friend.

OpenStudy (mrhirohito):

OK here il give you something else to work with..

OpenStudy (ageta):

ok guys go to the question that start with " Translate, reflect, and rotate (between 0 and 180°) Figure 1 so that it lies entirely in"

OpenStudy (ageta):

that is only one question

OpenStudy (ageta):

#3

OpenStudy (mathmale):

And what specifically do you need to know to address this one question? What have you done so far towards solving it?

OpenStudy (ageta):

ok good question

OpenStudy (mrhirohito):

Consider how the coordinates of each figure compare to the coordinates of Figure 1.

OpenStudy (ageta):

i did the translation but i could not do the rotation and reflection because it is in the middle. i just need help with that.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Would you please share a sketch of what you've done?

OpenStudy (ageta):

ok give me a sec

OpenStudy (mrhirohito):

@mathmale i agree he has not shared a sketch or anything he has done so far.

OpenStudy (mrhirohito):

i gave you a medal math :) Btw can you fan me and i fan you so we can chat later xD i would love to have some help from you later!

OpenStudy (ageta):

OpenStudy (mrhirohito):

Ok lets see what we got here.

OpenStudy (mrhirohito):

is that all?

OpenStudy (ageta):

yea

OpenStudy (ageta):

so tell me how i can rotate and refelect

OpenStudy (mathmale):

On your illustration you 've written "translation, up 3 left 4." What does that have to do with "rotate and reflect?"

OpenStudy (mathmale):

It's either "translation" or "rotate and reflect." Your choice (preferably a choice reflecting the instructions for this particular problem.)

OpenStudy (ageta):

rotation and refliction

OpenStudy (ageta):

@mathmale plz help

OpenStudy (ageta):

flutter you
