When Hitler was at total power he had plans to invade the entire world. The event that marked the start of World War Two was the invasion of Poland by Hitler and the Nazis on September 1, 1939.... France and Britain would immediately declare war on them., while China and Japan were still fighting. This became the start of World War Two which would last another 6 years and 2 days...... with the atomic bombing and surrender of the Empire of Japan. @RoseyPosey
