Hello all, my friend and I are putting together a book of poems, if you are interested, please leave your poem below, with your credit, if you don't want credit don't put anything and we'll say anonymous. once there are to many on this post, I will post another question with a email, email your poems to that. I look forward to what I see, and I may post some examples of my own work.

we're told we aren't special;
that we aren't worth the wait.
that society is right,
and there aren't soul mates.
that no one will love us;
that we have too much baggage.
so we write ourselves off,
and call ourselves average.
