medal and fan have more than one question Mrs. Ripley baked a pie for lunch, which she cut into 8 pieces. Mrs. Ripley and her friends ate 6 pieces of the pie, what percentage of the pie remained? A) 20% B) 25% C) 30% D) 60%

I find an easy way to find percentage is to convert the fraction to a decimal and then that decimal to a fraction. (It probably sounds worse than it is) They ate 6 out of 8 pieces of pie, so the fraction would be 6/8. To change that into a fraction, you can divide the numerator (6) by the denominator (8) and that gives you the decimal. Then, I believe, you multiply the decimal by 100 and that should be your percentage :)
Oh wait a second I may be wrong
Oh never mind. The final step I think should be subtracting your percentage from 100 and THEN should be the answer. :)
i got 1.33333333333
For 6 / 8?
oops i meant 75
Oh okay :) So now you can subtract 75 (your percentage) from 100 (the total) and get the percentage of leftover pie.
25%
what do you think
is it 25%
Yes, I think so! (That's what I got too)
same
yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy thanks but i have more
