Should kids have homework over school breaks? include two reasons why. 1. opinion 2. reason why: 3:reason why:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In my opinion, no Reason 1: it's not really a break if you are doing homework over the break. It makes no sense to give out work on a break. Reason 2: we could be outside playing with our friends instead of being cooped up with a pencil in your hand. It actually kinda promotes anti socialist at best.

Kids don't deserve homework over a break it's cruel Reason one: most of the kids who get work won't do it because they go out for the break or have plans. Reason two: It really wouldn't make sense if your in high school and your heading into spring break finished with part of the semester and having homework on something you've already learned or haven't learned at all.

1)My opinion is that children should not have homework over the break 2)Really, there is no reason to give homework over a break. Teachers who do give homework might not be utilizing their class time efficiently 3)teachers think students who dont do how work over breaks will forget some of what was learned already.

No, i do not believe in giving kids homework over break. It is bad enough on kids during the 7 hours a day and 5 days a week. not counting all the homework and stress. It is referred to as break for a reason. It is a break from school and work. For example, if you gave a man a week off work then said " Hey i forgot to tell you make sure you get all your work done and this 2 page paper." Its the same thing. How would you feel if your boss told you this. Secondly kids don't have a choice so why would you keep pushing all this on them. There have been so many drop outs because of stress and over working. They are gonna be adults soon and pushed into working to support there families. Let a kid be a kid before they are stuck. I am sorry its not the best. you can use it and improvise on it but it is just my input. thank you
