say a person has a 75 as their average grade and doesnt do a test that is 20% of their grade what would their average be now just wondering

If that test is 20% of your grade, then you better do it. If the test is 20% of all the test grades, you can get away with doing it, but you will have to do good on the other tests to pass. So, it's better to take the test and make a 50 than to not take it and get a 0.
but wat woukd the average be if they didnt take it?
If this was your final test, then it would stay as 75. But, I'm sure it isn't your final test so your grade could go well below the passing grade. Just take the test, even if you fail. It won't hurt your grade as much.
