MEDAL AND FAN The main tank has a radius of 70 feet. What is the volume of the quarter-sphere sized tank? Round your answer to the nearest whole number. You must explain your answer using words, and you must show all work and calculations to receive credit.

Okay, so the first step would be to find the volume of a sphere with a radius of 70 feet. 70^3 = 343000. Then, we multiply by pi, or the aprox. 3.14. That equals roughtly 1077020. Finally, we multiply it by 4/3 and we get 1432436.6. Now we have the hard part finished. To find the quarter sphere, we divide it by 4. We then get 358109.15.
