General Chem question: Density of osmium is 22.57 g/cm^3 the dimension of a block is 4.35cmx3.75cmx2.64cm. Find the mass. My question though is do I just multiply all the cm together and just use the total to find the mass???

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

Ok there giving you the dimensions of a rectangular solid. You need to multiply them together to find the volume which is represented by V=lwh. Given you find the volume you would then multiply the volume times the density of Osmium to find the mass of the rectanglur solid (block).

So then yes? :D Awesome! Thank you
