I don't know "arrowhead" as a geometric term. However, I found this. See attached.

OpenStudy (alana242):

Well okay

Directrix (directrix):

A = (1/2) * b * h 1.8 = (1/2) * x * 1.5

Directrix (directrix):

I'm looking at a possible value of x of 2.4 but need to read over my work.

OpenStudy (alana242):

I am confused as to how you arrive at that conclusion. I understand how you got 1.8 etc but how do you get the 2.4 @Directrix

Directrix (directrix):

The height of the triangle is the perpendicular distance between the vertex and the extended segment which contains the segment with length x. |dw:1457480357303:dw|
