Math (Medal)
Yes?
I'll get right on it! :)
sum any two angles = 90 then they are called complement angles example 20 and 70
sum of any two angles =180 then they are supplementary 130 and 50
Okay, to answer 2 we must understand what complimentary and supplementary angles mean. Simply, they mean that they add up to either 90 or 180 degrees respectively. A would be the correct answer, I'll spare you the math :P Seeing what I just said, C is the answer to 3. Check my work yourself, and good luck!
thankyou
They are correct. You guys did a great job on this one. :) To find the complement, SUBTRACT 90 from 47. To find the supplement, SUBTRACT 180 from 47. And if you have been paying attention, number two should be very easy.
@JupitersRing01 @dayakar
For which one? @Peachy1
1
No, try again... To find the complement we subtract 90 and 47 WHAT IS 90 - 47?
Yes. What is 180 - 47?
133
So answer is what? Supplementary = 133 Complemetary = 43
c
Close...but not quite...complementary is 43 not 53. :)
for number 2 is c?
for number 1 its b
No, do number 1 again. Number 2 is C, good job on that one
ok
{COMPLEMENTARY} 90 - 47 = ? {SUPPLEMENTARY} 180 - 47 = ? There you go.
complement 133 suplement 43
Let me try this another way... You are correct, just switch those answer. Complement is 43, and Supplement is 133. REMEMBER supplement is 180 - whatever number REMEMBER complement is 90 - whatever number in this case the number is 47. So... SUPPLEMENT is 180 - 47 COMPLEMENT is 90 - 47 So what is the answer now?
@Peachy1
133-43
Supplement is...what?
@DIDITHEDAD
@MissSmartiez
You still need help? Complement is 90 - 47. do that right now. WHAT IS 90 - 47
Now solve for the supplement WHAT IS 180 - 47
133
And you are done. Complement is 43, supplement is 133. answer is A.
Understand it now?
yes
