OpenStudy (prominer10000):

Lines l, m, and n are parallel. What is the value of x? https://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1565000_1565500/1565077/1/5d3a9b00398cac980164b66b5d7deb24069f121f/MS_IMB-1401201-1101002.jpg Please help!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so every straight line is 180 degrees. right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so if all the horizontal lines are parallel, that would mean if you put x next to the 46 but on the other side of the line, you simply need to subtract 46 from 180 and you find what x equals.

rebeccaxhawaii (rebeccaxhawaii):

mm

OpenStudy (prominer10000):

180 - 46 = 134?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep!

OpenStudy (prominer10000):

So 134 is the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah! thanks for the medal!

rishavraj (rishavraj):

u see the angles I marked are equal :)) http://prntscr.com/ad5v0d so x would be 180 - 46
