Okay I'll post a picture of a unit circle. It shows the degree needed to get to certain values. For your question focus on the degrees and the y value of the coordinates. The y value is the result of sin to what ever degree it says

hay that's kinds cool looking. but I have never seen something like that before, so all of the -1 values are between 210 and 300?

Sort of. Most of the negative values are on the bottom half of the unit circle. What you are looking for is the one that has a y value of -1

I know that 270 will = -1. What I am wondering is how to tell what other numbers will = -1 via sine function
