Question: The ideas of Montesquieu, a French writer, influenced the Founding Fathers to create a government where no one person or part had too much power. Why did this idea appeal to the Founding Fathers? Answers: A: They had experienced the rule of a Tyrant. B: They liked the way Louis XVI governed France. C: They wanted to make sure government was powerful. D: They believed Montesquieu's plan was the best.
