Very desperate for help!! Can someone please help me?! I will medal anyone who can help me!! Question below~

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which transformation is are isometries?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't really understand what an isometry or whatever is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What you have show seems to be a reflection. A reflection is whenever a shape retains the original shape and coordinates, while mirroring itself over an axis. Is there a specific question you have, or did you just need to know what that is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need to know which transformations are isometries.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My choices are: A- Only 1 B- 2 and 3 only C- 1 and 3 only D- All 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe the answer would be D. All three retain the size and shape of the figure. If I helped, a fan and a medal would be appreciated! :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh okay! So is an isometry basically a transformation that doesn't change or something? Also can you help with a few more questions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's correct! Sadly, I will not be able to help right now, but I am available ever day of the week, and will be able to help in about 2 hours. Good luck! :)

Okay well thank you for your help!
